ELVARLI Drying Hook Clamp System (2 / 6 / 10 Slots)

If you use the IKEA ELVARLI clothes rail, this custom clamp-on hook system is a simple but super useful upgrade for your laundry area, bathroom, or utility space.

I designed this clamp specifically for the ELVARLI pipe so you can easily hang drying pads, cloths, rags, gloves, or small tools without needing extra hangers. It locks onto the rail with a tight, secure fit — intentionally engineered for stability.

Why this design?

This model is based on a popular concept, but I rebuilt it with several important improvements:

Reinforced clamp arms
The original versions tend to crack at the top of the clamp. I thickened and reshaped this stress point to prevent breakage.

Completely support-free printing
Designed so you can place it on the bed and print it exactly as-is — no supports required.

Three sizes included

2-slot version – small and compact

6-slot version – the everyday all-rounder

10-slot version – maximum capacity for big cleaning batches

Optimized for PETG
I printed mine with PETG for better flexibility and durability, but PLA should also work if treated gently.

Recommended Print Settings

Material: PETG (recommended)

Layer height: 0.2 mm

Perimeters: 3

Infill: 20–30%

Supports: No supports needed

Orientation: Slot side up, clamp base on the bed

Usage

Just snap the clamp around the ELVARLI rail — the friction fit keeps it firmly in place. Hang cloths, pads, or anything that fits into the slots.

Notes

Designed specifically for the IKEA ELVARLI clothes rail diameter.

Tight fit is intentional for strength and stability.
