IKEA Skådis Mount for Pax Wardrobe (Adapter Kit)

This is a custom adapter designed to mount an IKEA Skådis pegboard inside an IKEA Pax wardrobe.

If you have tried to mount a Skådis inside a Pax, you likely noticed that the hole spacing does not match up—the mounting points on the Skådis are approximately 4mm narrower than the standard system holes in the Pax cabinet. This adapter has therfore one mount for front and back to adjust the mounting holes 2 mm each.

The Design The design consists of two parts that needed to be printed double:

Hardware Needed To assemble this, you will need the following hardware:

For the Pax Side: You need Euro screws (Möbelschrauben) with dimensions 6.3 x 14.5 mm. (These are standard screws used for cabinet hinges/runners).

For the Skådis Side: Use the original screws that came included with your Skådis pegboard.

Printing Instructions Material: PLA is sufficient, but PETG is recommended if you plan to hang heavy items on the board.

Infill: Recommended 15% or higher for structural strength.

Perimeters/Walls: 3 or more walls are recommended to ensure the screw holes are strong.

Supports: No supports needed

Assembly Guide

Secure the adapters to the Pax walls using the 6.3 x 14.5 mm Euro screws.

Place the Skådis pegboard against the adapters.

Screw in the original Skådis screws.
