Description
This is an enclosure for a slim, 12mm, DVD reader/burner with a SATA to USB converter card.
The card used in this construction has the advantage of a small footprint, uses an USB B connector with the possibility to add power if needed; it was bought on Amazon https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B0043R7Q80
The assembly uses 4 M3x18 hex screws, 4 optional fan washers and 4 blind nuts.
The model, implemented in OpenSCAD with the BOSL2 library, has a tessellation on the top and the bottom for heath dissipation. Model's source is provided in the files section.
