Description
Some EDF Model Jets suffer from too small Fan Inlet Crossection which reduces the zero-speed thrust significantly (such as the Tomahawk Viper Jet 70mm). A well known countermeasure to increase the thrust are further air vents, drilled into the fuselage as so called “cheat holes”.
Here this cheat-hole cover can be used to avoid foreign particles like rocks and grass from entering the duct. Just drill 15-17mm holes into the fuselage which allow air to flow into the EDF intake duct and glue this cover on top (see photos).
Easy to use, no risk, nearly no additional weight, but immediate zero-speed thrust performance increase.
