ShaperTools BenchPilot MFT holder

Parts to allow securing the ShaperTools BenchPilot to a Festool MTF/3 table, or any bench with 96mm pattern of 20mm holes. After installing the frame on the MFT3, use knobs to secure it. Homemade knob comes from this parametric design.

Assembly

Install screw and t-nut to the parts and slide them in the frame while assembling it, as described in step 3 of the assembly manual. Steps 4, 5, 17 are not needed anymore.

I replaced screws at step 8 with screws that are shorter and have wider head. Otherwise, the model needs to be modified to allow the M5 screw to go through the Tslot.

Frame

• 12 M5 15mm countersink screw
• 12 M5 T-nuts for 20mm Aluminium Extrusion
• 4 M6 nuts

Knob

• 4 M6 35mm screws used but 25mm are long enough.

Note: the BenchPilot can already be tighten to an MFT using the Workstation mounting points as described in the workstation manual page 7.
