Description
A somewhat lazy take on a top plate for the DuEnder base case.
The lid it 330mm on it's largest side, so it'll require a large format printer to print whole. I imagine it would be fairly simple to break it up into parts and glue it. I left the sides slotted for adjustment of the motor mounts. Again it wouldn't be too hard to remix this to fit exactly as you need. I mainly didn't want to have to re-print it if I changed my hardware config and wanted to move my Z motors. I figured I could to print covers for the slots if they bothered me.
The case slots into the center of the printer by 2mm and is held down by six M3x8 bolts and six M3 drop-in t-nuts.
It is advisable to calibrate shrinkage and skew compensation if you're going to print this whole. I printed this with a 0.5mm nozzle, 2 bottom layers, 1 top layer, 1 wall, and 10% infill. It was meant to be a test print but fit first-try and didn't look bad!
