Description
I just picked up a TOADS DB6 Digital Interface from Temporarily Offline (KM9G). I am in no way associated with KM9G, just needed a protective box for my TOADS.
Find me @ www.K5ACP.com
I printed in PETG with 3 walls/3 tops/3 bottoms and 40% infill and it worked great, very strong. Polymaker PETG at 40mm/s first layer, 50mm/s remaining layers.
I print the box standing up and it is deigned to print without supports.
You will need threaded M3 inserts to insert into the box. Then use M3 screws to attach lid.
There are many ways to put in heat inserts involving solder irons and even fancy press style attachments. None of that is needed on a surface mount like this. Use this quick and easy method for pressing in heat inserts. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/iar6NPHNPfY
