Description
This is a complete accessory pack I designed specifically for the FlashForge AD5X to make daily use of the printer more comfortable, cleaner, and more organized. All the models included in this upload appear in my full AD5X review on YouTube, where I explain how I use each accessory and why they are helpful in real printing scenarios.
You can find the full video review here:
📦 What’s included
A compact bin that attaches to the metal frame of the AD5X using regular magnets—no neodymium magnets required.
I designed it because my printer sits close to a wall, making the default purge location difficult to access.
With this bin, removing purge blocks becomes quick and effortless.
-Fits perfectly on the AD5X metal body
-Holds purged filament cleanly
-Uses simple, cheap magnets you can buy anywhere
-No screws, no tools — it just snaps into place
This small part acts as a stopper inside the IFS spool bracket.
Some filament reels (especially those with large central holes) can slide too far inward or wobble. The stopper ensures they stay firmly in place during printing.
-Prevents reels from sliding or falling
-Recommended for users who swap spools often
-Designed for reliability and a tight fit
These small markers snap onto the IFS spool arms with a firm press.
Since the AD5X has four filament slots, it’s easy to forget which reel corresponds to which channel. These markers solve that issue by clearly labeling each spool position.
-Very tight fit by design — press firmly until fully seated
-Helps avoid loading mistakes
-Clean, minimal shape that matches the AD5X aesthetic
🛠 Printing Recommendations
Material: PLA or PETG both work great
Layer Height: 0.2 mm recommended
No supports required on any model
3–4 walls recommended for long-term durability
Increase infill slightly for the Spool Holder (20–30%)
📌 Notes
All models were fully designed from scratch by me for educational and practical use.
These accessories appear in my FlashForge AD5X full review video, where I also explain the advantages of the AD5X and why I consider it such a well-thought-out printer.
Feel free to remix these as long as you credit the original source.
