Govee permanent lights cover

I have recently purchased a set of Govee Permanent Outdoor Elite lights. I did not like the idea of seeing exposed wires under my gutters. I saw that someone has made a cable runner channel with a clip-on govee light cover to make it seem all nice and tidy. That kit was quite pricey, so I thought of just purchasing cable runners from a local box store and creating a similar cover myself.

This model is meant to be used with these cable runners: Legrand Wiremold C310 Cordmate III

The idea is to cut that cordmate channel into segments long enough to cover the wiring and then use this cover to join those segments together.
