Description
stepper motor belt drive with 1:3 ratio for the X-axis of the X2P mill
including a drill template with 2.5mm holes for M3 tapping
also including a version with extra mount underneath the bed on the side of the stepper motor
both models have a brace inside it (see 3d print preview pic) so it can be 3d printed 7mm thin in PETG, else make it in alu. One side has a recess/countersunk for the F695 bearing(s) so it can be 3d printed without support.
now includes a mod to house the controller and a 40mm fan, does need support while printing
Modified the leadscrew to fit a 11mm socket (see pic), turned down a hex to ¼ inch driver to 5mm to fit the GT2 20T5-60T5-280mm (GT2 belt of 280mm, with 20 & 60 teeth pulleys with 5mm holes for a 1:3 ratio) using a JK42HM60-1684A-03F (0.9° - 0.54N.m - 1.68A - NEMA17) stepper motor, driving the motor with a stepper motor controller ZK SMC 02 (and a led power supply)
