Description

The Moduluma Lamp Ecosystem is a fully modular, customizable lighting system designed to let you build your own unique lamp from interchangeable 3D-printed parts.
Every component — vases, splines, shades, rings, clips, inlays, and decorative elements — follows one shared connection standard, allowing you to mix and match pieces freely without tools, screws, or glue.

Whether you want a minimalistic aesthetic, an organic sculptural look, or a bold design centerpiece, Moduluma lets you create a lamp that fits your space perfectly.
All parts are prepared for easy printing, require no supports, and assemble with simple press-fit connectors.

You choose the vase, shade style, inlays or decor, and lighting fixture (E14, E27, or the Bambu LED Kit).
Everything else fits together seamlessly.

Moduluma gives you creative freedom, interchangeability, and a future-proof ecosystem of expanding designs.

General Printing Instructions

There are preconfigured 3mf files for each component!

All parts print without supports unless otherwise stated.

For best results: 0.2 mm layer height, 15–20% infill, 3–4 perimeters.

PLA works perfectly; PETG also possible for higher temperature resistance.

All files and print plates are labeled for easy identification.

General Assembly Instructions (Applies to All Moduluma Lamps)

Print the Parts You Need

Choose and print any combination of:

1x Vase (e.g., Modular Vase Big, Modular Vase Small)

4x each Inlay for Modular Vases

4x Clips (required for attaching the shade)

Decide which Lampshade you want:

For the Modular Lampshades (the two on the right in the picture) print:

12x Splines (Even + Odd variants depending on shade)

1x Top and Bottom Rings for the shade

54x Leaf elements for modular shades styles

Assembling the Vase

Insert any inlays or decorative elements (if your chosen vase uses them).

Press-fit them securely — all connections are keyed and cannot be misplaced.

Insert the clips into the top of the vase.

Preparing the Shade

The general workflow for all shades:

Pressfit all Clips into the Bottom Ring and the Top Ring.

Press-fit Even and Odd splines into the Bottom Ring first.

Press-fit the Top Ring onto the splines so everything locks into place.

Add decorative leaf  onto each spline if the shade design calls for it.

Everything uses consistent press-fit geometry — no screws, no glue.

If you printed the organic shade you dont need to assemble it anymore!

Insert Your Lighting Fixture

Compatible with:

E14 socket

E27 socket

Bambu Lab LED Light Kit

Insert the fixture into the top of the vase and route the cable through the slot at the base.

Connecting Shade + Vase

Align the shade with the vase and gently press the shade’s bottom ring onto the clips.

Press evenly around the circumference until it seats fully.

If the fit is tight, apply gradual pressure section by section.

Your Moduluma Lamp Is Ready

You’ve created a fully custom lamp using interchangeable modular components.
You can always swap the shade, change inlays, print a new vase, or mix in future Moduluma expansions.
