Description
Another Stranger Things mini from "Welcome to the Hellfire Club" this time the Demobat and a Demobat swarm. Technically these are supposed to be "tiny" creatures but I just can't bring myself to make something that small so I've got it as a small creature on a 20mm baseplate and the swarm is on a 25mm baseplate. Instead of using a flying create baseplate that sockets into the mini I created an all-in-one stl using the swirl that I use for my animated weapons. Similarly with the swarm I made a couple blobs of it and tried my best to fill in the voids between the bats.

For my process on this one I started with a couple AI base meshes then chopped them up remeshed, sculpted, remeshed before print optimizing.. As usual I livestreamed the work on this mini and that full video will be available here.
For printing - I'm doing a quick test print of the swarm and will share a 3mf file once it's done. My concern is supports will be a pain to clear out or that parts will snap so I'll iterate here to make sure we have a good print. For Resin I think the usual 45 degree tilt and auto supports should be fine but there might be a bunch of supports to clear out so having a small screwdriver or something will be handy.
That's it for the demobats. A few more minis left and the list for the Stranger Things adventure should be done.
I've completed my quest for 1000 models in 2025 so now I'm trying to decide whats next. You can follow along with me on Thingiverse, Printables, Cults3d or provide suggestions on Patreon here: https://goto.adamnant.com/l/patreon (as well as get codes for exclusive downloads on Cults3d). If you have something that you need or a custom model like this that you want then let me know and let's make it!
