Description
I took a break from modelling this week to work on some other projects but I had this idea that I wanted to make a market stall where the bins were interchangeable. I ended up making a couple variants of the roofing as well as leaving them optional for the folks that want to print everything supportless and then glue things together afterwards. I think it turned out pretty great :)
These are fun little minis that don't take too long to print with optional for supportless or low-support. They can add a bit of flair to a "shopping" session or you can build a one shot around it with "Trouble in the Market" where vendors, customers and cats are going missing. I've created a Patreon Exclusive Mimic as a fun little BBEG in this case or it could be a sentient merchant whose stall looks unattended - a quick way to put players in their place! This exclusive is available for free (for now) on my Patreon here: https://goto.adamnant.com/l/market-stall-mimic?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link - this might be something I make Patron only at some point so if you are interested in this model then pop over there to download it.

For my process on this I didn't use an AI for this model as they were mostly just cubes and curves. I worked on the overall shape of the market stall and then iterated making it supportless from there I worked on posts and a roof. Then I wanted to make some wood textures for boards and shingles. For these I like to draw annotations and then convert those to curves, thickening them up and then using the boolean modifier to remove those curves from the cube boards / shingles etc... I think it worked out pretty good, didn't mess up the supportless versions and I'm looking forward to using this technique again.
There are a LOT of files in here so here is a simple guide to them:
Market Stall Whole - These are All-In-One printable market stall with the wooden roof, canvas or patchwork roof
Market Stall Combined - These are STL files will all of the parts available separately
Separate Parts
Bins4 - is just the wooden market stall bins, it took more than 4 versions to get it right but I stopped counting at 4
Bins untextured - this is a very simple, supportless 3-bin market stall. You can paint it whatever color you want to make your own materials
Roofs - Wooden, Canvas, and Patchwork files
Legs - Legs Back / Legs Front - they're combined, the back legs are a bit taller than the front
Bins - Fish, Pumpkin and Cabbage - there is also a "Bin.template" file which you can remix to make whatever other kind of goods you'd like to see (or you can ask me for more variations here). I already had a fish and pumpkin handmade and I could hear someone shouting "My Cabbages!!" so I had to make those but otherwise I lost motivation here. The sky is the limit tho. I might make a remix with some of the AI props that I have (frogs, turtles, skulls etc...) but I'll keep them out of this model.
BONUS: Mimic Market Stall available for FREE on my Patreon (for now). If you're going to have your party run through a market this might be a fun addition to throw at them! That is is for the Modular Market Stalls, cheers, hope you enjoy the minis and weren't too annoyed by my shameless self-promotion (if not I have some more of that following this statement).
This was a fun set of models to make - if you like this please hit the like, collect, share, buttons and comment all the things on this model. If you want to see more models like this then come support me on Patreon - the link is around here somewhere ;)!
I've completed my quest for 1000 models in 2025 so now I'm trying to decide whats next. You can follow along with me on Thingiverse, Printables, Cults3d or provide suggestions on Patreon here: https://goto.adamnant.com/l/patreon (as well as get codes for exclusive downloads on Cults3d).
