Description
This nozzle is designed as a replacement part for rechargeable vacuum pumps used with vacuum storage bags commonly used for filament. The original seal on my pump cracked, making it useless. Rather than disposing of a perfectly good pump, I created this model to restore full functionality. I also have another version that is uses a rigid plastic (such as PLA) with the larger O ring that came with the pump.
Print this part in TPU. A smooth build plate is recommended, as it produces a cleaner sealing surface. Printing on a textured plate will still work, but it may require extra pressure to achieve a proper seal.
