Description
Tool for easy adding bolts and nuts into your OpenSCAD project. Bolt is supposed to be inserted axially. In case of nut you can choose between axial and radial inserting. In case of radial you can add a slot to fix the nut better.
If bolt bed or nut bed is hovering, it prints badly. But you can use parameters layer1 or layer2 (according to bolt/nut rotation). Non-zero values will generate unmovable supports for the hole sides.
Slicers do not slice hole for a bolt/nut from bottom very bad (nearly no bridges but lot of overhangs). But there is a trick I saw at Prusa parts. Bridges are done first and then the hole. So printer can handle it easily. Layer height in code has to be equal or higher than layer height used in slicer, otherwise it won't work.
