Description
I took the opportunity to pay tribute to the much-loved Prusa Signature Oak design. To keep the theme consistent, all components were designed to be easily printable on a Prusa CORE One/+.
The design faithfully replicates several key elements: the shape of the black slats, the $45^\circ$ beveling of the joints, the feet, and, notably, the ventilation grille, which can be manually controlled using a brass-effect knob.
It took me a significant amount of time to optimize the design, ensuring it was not only aesthetically pleasing but also easy to print and assemble.
I also created a version featuring a realistic wood effect, utilizing the slicer's modifier with SVG files. Unfortunately, the wood grain on the curved sections is not reproduced correctly. I would be very interested in collaborating with anyone who could help me create optimized slicers or models for this effect, to give the piece an even more beautiful look.
As always, I recommend using PETG for maximum flexibility and increased heat resistance. However, since this is a wood-effect print, I strongly suggest using wood-filled filaments for a superior visual result. It would be fantastic to see the different color combinations chosen by the community!
Assembly is extremely simple. You will only need one M3 8mm screw and a small amount of glue to secure only the top grille (which I divided into two parts due to its size). All other components are designed to snap together, making assembly and the eventual replacement of individual parts very easy.
I hope you appreciate the work. If you have any advice, suggestions, or ideas for future improvements, I would be happy to consider and integrate them into the model.
The assembly guide is in progress and will be available shortly.
