Dardew - Tiefling Bard (DND / TTRPG)

Another "Welcome to the Hellfire Club" mini - this time it's Dardew. Technically he's a fiend but I think he makes a great Tiefling bard.

For my process this started as two separate AI mesh / rodin models and then I whittled down features that I liked. I made the guitar and tail from scratch, posed and sculpted details into Dardew. Working on this model reminded me of the heavy metal guitar demons I made way back in February of this year: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6953227 - I think Dardew here could absolutely be used as another "Demon on the road" encounter where the party has to do a music battle for their soul. I think my work has progressed a lot since Feb, partly because Rodin Gen2 has some definite advantages over gen1, partly because I work from t-poses instead of a fixed pose, partly because I'm using much higher quality reference images and maybe another part because I'm getting a bit better at modelling. As usual I livestreamed the work on this mini - once it's done processing I'll share it here and you can make up your own mind about how it was made.

For FDM printing definitely printing on his back is a good method. I tried to keep the mini as solid as possible so the body of the guitar and his hand merged together. For resin the usual 45 degree tilt and auto supports should be fine.

That's it for Dardew for now. Since he's such a neat character I might remix him in to a few other poses and make them Patreon exclusives.
