Freewing LED Afterburner Mount for 64mm EDF Outrunner (No-Screw, Channel Insert)

Most commercial kits are designed for larger inrunners, making secure and centered mounting difficult for the smaller 64mm unit.

Key Dimensions:

• Outer Diameter (OD): 63 mm (Designed for a tight friction fit in the air duct)

• LED Inner Diameter (ID): 15 mm (Designed for Freewing LED Afterburner)

Key Features & Design:

• No-Screw Mounting: Designed to slide directly into the air channel, eliminating the need for drilling or complex mounting solutions on the motor casing.

• Precision Fit: Centers the LED light source perfectly behind the motor and impeller blades for an optimal visual effect.

• Easy Fixation: Secured with just a small amount of CA (Super Glue) or hot glue to the duct wall.

• Lightweight: Minimal impact on the jet's overall weight and flight characteristics.

Print Settings & Instructions:

1. Material: PETG or ABS recommended due to heat from the motor/exhaust. (PLA can soften.)

2. Layer: as you want (I printed it at 0.16mm)

3. Infill: maybe 10–30% (for strength).

4. Supports: Required for this design. (Treemode)

5. Hardware Required: Freewing LED Afterburner and CA Glue for fixation.

6. Installation: Dismount all holder from the LED, insert the LED into the new printed holder, then gently slide the entire unit into the EDF duct until it sits flush just behind the impeller.
