The small snowflake is used as base to attach it directly on the ceiling.
Assemble the big snowflake, use glue if needed to attach the parts together.
It should look like the following
Use transparent cable, and attach each snowflake arm with a different cable to the small snowflake. It should hang at least 10 cm from the small snowflake ( or the ceiling)
Cut 3 25-30 cm long cables, attach hooks to both ends. Pass the cable through the middle sections of the now flake and attach it upside down in the infill of the big snow flake.
Attaching ornament cables
Starting at the centre, start a 5-10 cm cable.
Attach one side to the hook , the other to the ornament and attach it to the centre of the snowflake ( in the infill).
Now increase the cable size by 3-5 cm, and the mount of cables. Attach ornaments around the center piece.
Repeat this step for each concentric circle. The more ornaments you use the better it will look.
There are different hook sized, the connecting parts, are higher it is easier to attach the longer hooks.
