Description
I got kicked out of my shared garage because I was in and out changing the filament on my 3d printer (Shame on them)
So......
I ordered an enclosure and now the printer is in my kitchen....
Because it is winter and all, I did not want the window open all the time.
they say the micro particles, even from pla printing can be harmful, I decided to make an adapter from the enclosure exhaust to a hoover bag, this way (Hopefully) i can print my merry way in the cosiness of my kitchen without coughing my lungs out anymore, It has been printing for a few hours now and I have a tickle free throat!
Um I can not take any responsability if this does not work for you but I would like your feedback if you have problems and I would then take down the post!
if I open the enclosure a crack, the fan is creating plenty of negative pressure so fingers crossed.
if you are not certain of the seal, I suggest you hoss a load of duct tape around the joins, to be fair, the hoover bag should not need changing for a decade....
one other thing.... my exhaust hose is 73mm internal diameter and I made the adapter to fit my hoover bag. this might be a problem if yours is different. if you need a different size message me with the dimensions and I will make another.
