Description
This is one of the quiet places. They look like headstones, don't they? But these colossal, broken slabs of obsidian are remnants of the great jungle that used to be here, the final, sorrowful memorial to the Doku-ya Juy'ata's lost world. The sun shines right through 'em, and the heat builds up like a proper kiln. Notice how the ground around their base glows with that angry, lava-orange light? You walk through here, you're not just exposed, you’re baking. It’s a corridor, designed to funnel every fool who thinks they've found a path into the killing heat. It's a monument to failure, and if you linger here, you'll become part of the monument yourself. Respect the dead, sure, but mostly: move, move, move.
STL files for the Obsidian Headstones Terrain for the Chamuscado Glass Wastes environment from The Eightpints quest and skirmish tabletop wargame.
We test print on a Bambu Lab A1 and Elegoo Mars Ultra, tilt the model backwards slightly and use auto supports. Videos and photos of our printed models can be see on our Instagram @TheEightpints (and also a lot of Turkey jokes (Note: Not really "a lot", but definitely more than anyone is expecting)).
Many thanks to AA Dog and North of the Greggs Line Studios.
