Description
This is a model for a Pokemon Coin pendant or ornament casing, designed to print the coin in place.
---
Originally designed as an ornament for OE Pokemon Coins that come in collectors boxes, but can be used for any type of decoration, printed coin, etc. that fits the space. The outer edge of the OE coins is slightly covered by the bezel edge, keeping it in place.
Has not been tested on metal coins!
---
Designed in Solidworks and first printed on an Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro in PLA. Initial prints and pictured prints contain a pause @ roughly layer 30 and layer height 0.175. You will need to count your layers after slicing and put a 'pause' or 'change filament' line in your G-code just before last layer after the gap closes enough to fit the coin (i.e. just below the bezeled edge.) I recommend putting your pause closer to the end of the widened gap to prevent the print head from crashing into the coin itself.
