3D-Printed Egg Piercer - Perfectly Pierced Eggs Every Time

Take your egg boiling game to the next level with this custom-designed Egg Piercer. This tool allows you to effortlessly create a small hole at the wide end of your eggs, helping to prevent cracking and making peeling smoother and easier. Ideal for hard-boiled, soft-boiled, or even deviled eggs, this simple yet effective tool is a must-have for any kitchen.

Key Features:

- Precise Piercing: A perfectly placed hole reduces the chance of egg cracks during boiling, ensuring your eggs stay intact.

- Easy to Use: Just gently press your egg onto the piercer, and it will do the work for you - simple and efficient.

- Compact & Ergonomic: Small enough to store easily, with an ergonomic design for a comfortable grip and quick use.

Why It Works:

The egg pierce‘s design ensures that every egg is pierced precisely at the correct spot, preventing unnecessary cracks during cooking and making peeling faster and more consistent. It is a perfect addition for home cooks, meal prep enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys perfectly boiled eggs.

Assembly Instructions for the 3D-Printed Egg Piercer:

1. Spring Installation:

- I used a spring with dimensions 9.5 mm x 16 mm.

- Heat both ends of the spring slightly (be cautious and use appropriate tools).

- Attach the heated ends of the spring securely to the Bottom and EggYellow parts of the piercer. The heat will slightly melt the plastic, effectively ”gluing“ the spring in place to prevent movement.

2. Needle Preparation:

- Take a standard sewing needle and cut it down to a length of approximately 17 mm. Use wire cutters or another appropriate tool for a clean cut.

- Ensure the cut end is smooth to avoid sharp edges that might interfere with assembly or usage.

3. Needle Installation:

-Similar to the spring, heat the end of the needle slightly and insert it into the middle of the Bottom part.

- Ensure the needle is firmly secured and aligned properly to allow precise and effective piercing during use.
