Alfie made another monster to be turned into a 3d printable DND creature. This time it was a little cat robot thing - while I was working on it the name "Meowdron" seemed to fit nicely. Unlike my other "kids art to 3d" minis I made this one by hand with simple shapes and then remeshed and sculpted. I tried to keep it faithful to the drawing but I added some bevels to the arms and chest and I removed the single swirl of hair on its head because he said he didn't want that part.

For the process as I mentioned it was made with simple shapes. Cylinders for the body and buttons and nose, curves for the arms, uv spheres for the hands and head. There is a little star mesh in blender that I filled in and tweaked a bit for the chest button. The sculpting is pretty plain but I maybe went a bit overboard trying to add more detail so it looks a bit out of place. Lower poly might have been better here idk. Overall this was a fun exercise and I think Alfie is going to be happy with this one.

For printing. I doubt anyone will want to print this other than us but I've added presupported resin files and a 3mf file of the base model. You can use these or follow the usual I give:

• FDM print on its back with tree supports at 30 degrees

• Resin print at a -45 degree angle on the x-axis with automatic supports (since this mini is larger you might want to use medium supports)
