Description
This model is designed as a mini "Barrel Organ" where the musical organ consists of a small music box and the shape is that of a closed cart equipped with wheels and bars for transport as was done in past centuries. Next to the music box for decoration I also placed/glued a mini-theater on which I glued a print of some typical Italian carnival masks (Pulcinella, Harlequin, Colombina) but obviously everyone can replace both the theater and the print as they wish. The cart was further decorated with 4 friezes to be glued with superglue.
Last important detail: the cart is internally illuminated with a 30 cm LED wire powered by a CR2032 3V battery and its support with an ON/OFF switch. This is the most complex part of the assembly: I created a groove of about 2 mm in diameter on the back of the cart, which is approximately the diameter of my LED wire. To fix the wire, however, a little superglue is needed and the operation must be done one piece at a time; you then need to carefully measure the electrical wire coming from the battery, cut it to size and connect it to the LED (I soldered it: pay attention to the LED polarity!).
Additional materials: one Plexiglas sheet 1 mm thick, 8 M2x6 screws
