Description
A re-design of quick change TPU treads specifically for the SDS MK5n. These are a ground up re-design of the Quick Change Formlabs WCP treads :
The MK5n version has geometry adjustments to make them last longer, and be easier/cleaner to print.
The grip on these is phenomenal, more than the Black Neoprene Tread Strip. Our WCP design typically lasted an entire comp, with changes only for playoffs. With a wider spike angle, wider spike profile, together with the wider tread of the MK5n, we anticipate that this tread will have even better wear characteristics.
NOTE: I've added a Beta Test Wheel that may have even more traction on the 2026 Game. We are a week 1 team, with an unfinished robot (2 weeks away) so our testing will be less than complete until after week 1 for the Beta Wheel.
Print Suggestions:
Make sure to print them with the text right side up, as the model has angled cuts to ensure no overhangs above the screw head holes. Print them at 0.25 layer height, and 5 walls (or 100% infill). They print well taking the 0.20 speed profile, and changing they layer height to 0.25 (and number of walls). If you have a drafty print area, add a brim, it will wear off on the first drive.
In Durability testing we have found that Priline's 98A TPU has the best wear characteristics:

But that Overture's 95A TPU is also "Good":

Version History (Please leave feedback including Version number in the comments):
1.2 is the first release for driving.
Print Times are approx 9.25 hrs per tread, with a material cost of approx $2.53 USD.
