Sovol SV08 Tool Head Cover Mk3 (New Design)

An alternative Sovol SV08 Tool Head Cover with better airflow. 

• Modeled from scatch,

• It has better over all quality and a sleeker design,

• Easier to print, requires less or no support.

• Designed for the newer SV08 releases where the tool head has the pin to hold the cover in place.

• Air channels on both side,

• Neo pixel LED support,

• Holds onto the tool head with magnets and the metal pin, which makes it impossible to fall off, especially in newer versions of SV08.

• STEP file is included.

This is a remix of my previous design, which was a remix of somebody elses model itself. My previous modifications were done over the STL version of the and was not very good. So, I completely remodeled it.

Updates

14.12.2025

I just installed the enclosure kit for my SV08, and I noticed that this shroud protrudes so much that it hits to the front door when the head is in the very front, i.e at the start of the print, so I'll most probably come up with a new design that prevents that.

The model is updated with a new version that is compatible with the enclosure, so that it is not hitting the enclosure doors at Y=0 anymore.
