Description
This model was born from a simple idea: I wanted the fastest and most reliable way to create a clean, good-looking 3D printed tree with minimal effort and a high success rate.
Instead of sculpting a classic tree shape, I used Organic Supports in PrusaSlicer to “grow” the trunk and branches. This approach is also available in other slicers, so the concept is not limited to one tool. The result is a stylized, organic-looking tree that is easy to print, lightweight, and surprisingly consistent.
I printed my first tests in white PLA to check the quality and surface behavior, but I think the most natural look will come from brown or wood-like tones. That said, bright or unusual colors can also be fun if you want a more fantasy or abstract vibe.
What makes this model special is how much you can change it just by playing with slicer parameters. With small tweaks you can get different silhouettes, branch directions, and overall “personality” of the tree. It’s a quick way to generate multiple variants for dioramas, tabletop scenes, or simple desk decor.
If you remix this model or use the same idea to generate new trees, please share them! And if you print it, I’d really enjoy seeing your Makes—especially how and where you place these trees in your projects.
Simple concept, fast workflow, lots of creative potential.
