Description
The model is inspired by the Vertical Drill Guide for Forstner Bits. I use various drills and didn't want to print many drill jigs. Thus I came up with the idea to use inserts with different diameters and heights. The design is - to my understanding - not really a remix since I created it from scratch without using the original files.
There are inserts for bearings as well as bushings. Please let me know if further diameters or bearing sizes are needed.
Make sure to tighten the screw just gently, do not overtighten. Due to the printing layers the insert needs only little clamping force to hold tight.
The hardware needed are an M4x10 bolt, an M4 nut, and the respective bearings for your drill sizes. You need two bearings per insert for better drill guidance. Some inserts are slightly higher than the holder for the inserts. It works nonetheless since the holder is deep enough and I needed to make a compromise for shorter drills. Some of the bushings are lower than the holder for the same reason.
You can easily create your own inserts: diameter is 30mm, height is 15mm
My print settings:
PLA or PETG
0,2 mm layer height
30% infill gyroid
Supports: yes, automatic
