I found the best quality was achieved by printing it vertically. Experimented with a few ways to split it and settled on chopping the “top” off. The 3MF includes:

• Supports

• 2 different tops, one with a loop for hanging

• Oblong for cutting locating pins out of

The body and top both have 1mm holes to help line them up while gluing. Clean the holes out with a 1mm drill bit, and then cut short (~2mm) segments of the oblong to go into the holes.
