Description
This is an accessory to my spool holder for the CORE One as well as for the new spool holder for the Prusa CORE One+. The flexible arms lean against the edge of the spool, preventing the filament from jumping over the edge and get tangled around the spool holder. There is a fixed inner part as well as an easily removable outer part.
The outer part connects to the + shaped hole in the spool holder. The arms and the small "+"-coupling should be printed in TPU as they need to be flexible, and so there is no noise when the spool rubs against the arms while printing.
The modified Prusa base part that screws into the side of the CORE One has extra holes on the back so it can be fastened a little higher to accommodate 3kg spools that normally cannot fit in the side panel with the original spool holder.
The concept is simple and should be easy to adapt to other types of spool holders.
Update 1: Added version 2 of the two rollers, with extra positions to rotate the outer part with arms.
Update 2: Added space for more arms to both base plates and the outer part.
