Hot Wheels RC Car - Slot Car Guide Pin

Here is a press in guide keel pin for a Hot Wheels RC Car. No glue or modifications to the car are required and the guide pin is easily removed by hand when desired. This allows the RC Car to run on commercial or routed tracks with an 1/8" groove. This should work on 1:43, 1:32 and 1:24 scale track.

STL's are provided for the two cars I have (Porche911 and Lamborghini2024). I have also provided FreeCAD and Step files for the guide keel pins so you can modify one of these designs to fit other Hot Wheels RC cars.

I don't have an 1/8" slot car track layout to test this on so I'd be interested to hear how this works on your track layout. You can also print your own two lane slot car track kit here:
