Tired of Skadis accessories snapping at the pins or requiring tedious supports? This Universal Skadis Mount is designed from the ground up to be the most durable and easy-to-print mounting solution for your IKEA Skadis pegboard.

The Design Concept This system splits the mounting process into two optimized parts to ensure maximum strength and zero filament waste:

The Base Plate: A mountung interface that can be merged (using your slicer or CAD software) onto any object—containers, tool holders, or shelves.

The Mounting Pins: Separate pins designed to lock the base plate securely to the Skadis board.

Key Features 100% Support-Free: Every angle is optimized for clean printing without the need for support material.

Maximum Durability: By separating the pins from the base, you can print the pins in the orientation that provides the most mechanical strength (laying flat), preventing the common issue of layer-shear when hanging heavy items.

Truly Universal: If your object is large enough to fit the base plate, it can become a Skadis accessory. Simply merge the base plate in your slicer (like PrusaSlicer or Bambu Studio) with your desired model.

Printing Instructions Material: PETG or similar for long-term tension/creep resistance, though PLA works well for light tools.

Orientation: Base Plate will print without support, if your model you merge it to need support I can´t fix that ;).

Pins: Print on their flat side to ensure the layer lines run the length of the pin for maximum strength.

Walls/Infill: Use at least 3 vertical perimeters and 25% infill.

How to Use Import your target model (e.g., a bin) into your slicer.

Import the Base Plate STL and position it against the back of your model.

"Merge" or "Group" the objects and slice.

Slot the pins into the board and slide your new custom accessory into place.
