Designed for multi‑extruder printers and fully compatible with all existing Allsky housings, this kit adds crisp colour detailing, improved modelling, and protective dome covers for maintenance and long‑term storage. Stylized components, designed for multi-color printers to compliment your existing PiHQ/ZWO Allsky camera housing downloaded from the ChrisE Printables Store:

Multicolor Inserts

For Multiple Extruders or Tool Changing Extruders

Integrated into the design are embedded inserts that facilitate the colour selection during slicing - Load the provided .3mf files into your slicer retaining their position within the model.  Individually select the desired colour(s) according to your taste

Traditional Single Extruders

It is possible to separate the inserts in the slicer and print separately inserts on a separate print bed.  Each insert has a wall thickness of least 3 layers. Some sanding & glue required in non-visible areas to complete assembly.

Of course, the .3mf assemblies can also be printed with a single color and retain the same great detail, add textures like fuzzy skin to the inserts.

Protective Dome Dust Cover

Stylized Dome Covers also included to protect dome during Assembly/Maintenance and shield the Dome & Sensor during any prolonged periods of infrequent use.

Build Example

Print Settings

0.4mm nozzle with 0.2mm layer height for best results.

ASA or PETG recommended for UV resistance & general outdoor use.
