Core One - Acrylic Side Panel Cover

Intro:

Easy side panel covers for Core One. Easy to remove via magnets and looks slick. Perfect for keeping out pet hair, dust, or UV. Seal up the gaps and add some desiccant for a built in dryer.

Files:

• CoreOneSidePanel - Guides - Corner pieces to hold acrylic panel. Print QTY 4 per panel.

• CoreOneSidePanel - Handle - Handle for easy removal of acrylic panel. Print QTY 1 per panel.

Printers and Filaments:

• Printed on Prusa CORE ONE with Prusament PLA.

Print Instructions:

• print flatsides down as shown

• no supports

• 15% infill worked fine

Non-Printed Parts:

Quantities shown are per panel. Double quantity if you are making both panels.

• QTY 1 - 12"x12" acrylic panel EXAMPLE

• VHB tape EXAMPLE

• 4ft - 1/4" or 1/2" adhesive magnet strip EXAMPLE

Assembly:

1. Print parts

2. Attach and trim magnet strip to the perimeter of acrylic panel

3. Apply VHB tape to backside of printed parts

4. Install the guides

   1. Apply a guide with VHB approximately 1/8-1/4" from the Core One's panel opening

   2. Attach the acrylic panel using the magnets to the Core One's side. Use the first guide to verify alignment.

   3. Once happy with alignment (panel should have ~1/8in contact all the way around) apply the remaining guides with VHB.

5. Install the handle using VHB in any location you prefer

6. Repeat for other side if desired
