The Whadda/MadLab Junior Theremin kit (https://whadda.com/product/madlab-electronic-kit-junior-theremin-wsg105/ | http://www.madlab.org/kits/theremin.html) offers the opportunity to practice with the basics of electronic soldering, while building a functional simplified musical instrument. Unfortunately, the kit is provided without an encasing for the board, so I decided to design one for myself.

The case is composed of two parts, both being fully printable without the need for any supports.

The main box is sufficiently spacious to contain both the board itself and the 9v battery needed to power up the instrument. Plus, it can also be used to store the original instruction sheet provided with the kit. Last but not least, it features a small engraving on the bottom to celebrate the inventor of the instrument, namely Лев Сергеевич Термен, aka Leon Theremin.

The lid simply fits within the main box and above the board, while providing a small hole for the antenna. I decided to print this part using transparent PLA, in order to still being able to see the underneath LEDs and circuitry. However, the material can obviously be changed according to your personal preferences.

0.2 mm layers height worked just fine for me, probably also 0.4 mm should be okay.
