A landmark that couldn't miss in the MiniWorld3D library is one of the world's most famous churches and final destination of pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago: The Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
The Santiago de Compostela Archcathedral Basilica is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Galicia, northwestern Spain. It is the reputed burial place of Saint James the Great (Santiago el Grande), one of the apostles of Jesus Christ.
The archcathedral basilica has historically been a place of Christian pilgrimage on the Way of St James (El Camino de Santiago) since the Early Middle Ages and marks the traditional end of the pilgrimage route. The building is a Romanesque structure, with later Gothic and Baroque additions.
Its origin, according to legend, dates to the 800's AD, when the supposed tomb of Saint James was found in a field marked by stars, "Campus Stellae" in Latin, later "Compostela". The first shrine and later expansions to larger churches continued through the ages, with the current structure starting in 1075, in Romanesque style. Throughout the centuries and as pilgrim numbers grew, the city grew too to accommodate them and the Cathedral complex grew as well, adding ornamentation according to new styles and technologies, up to the 18th century.
The Facade of Obradoiro (mason's workshop in Galician) is the western and main access, from the Square of the same name. It was built to cover and protect the much older Romanesque facade. This is the most popular side of the cathedral, known worldwide and viewed by all pilgrims (from Wikipedia).
This detailed model was originally made in Maya by 3D artist Marc Mons; and prepared for 3D printing and with additional details by Dany Sánchez for publication through MiniWorld3D.

No rafts or brims needed, but you can add one if you experience warping.
Your slicer may indicate warnings or errors - this is due to the original mesh being created in Maya (surfaces) and heavily modified for 3D printing. It still prints correctly, as tested by us, but if you see abnormal sections missing or holes, please fill them by adding a solid body within your slicer. In our testing, different behaviors happened depending on the slicer, version, and scale, so no single solution worked universally. We apologize for this inconvenience.
