Festive Christmas Tree Pot

Intro

A minimalist pot designed specifically for the IKEA VINTERFINT artificial Christmas tree with a 4 ¾" (12 cm) pot. Features a Scandinavian-inspired design with a stable base that prevents tipping and an optional integrated holder for 1-2 Christmas lights battery cases to keep everything nice and hidden.

This festive edition features embossed winter holiday motifs including gift boxes, candy canes, stars, and snowflakes. Print in a single color for a more elegant, yet festive look, or use multi-color/multi-material printing for more vibrant details.

Details

Last year, my IKEA VINTERFINT Christmas tree tipped over and shattered some of my favorite glass ornaments. The culprit? That tiny, unstable default pot and the tree's high center of gravity. Also, those bulky AA battery cases for the lights had nowhere to hide with their short cables, so they just sat behind the pot, constantly tipping over every time I was changing the light patterns or turning the lights on/off.

So, I decided enough was enough and designed this minimalist pot specifically for the IKEA VINTERFINT artificial Christmas tree with a 4 ¾" (12 cm) pot. Clean, Scandinavian-inspired, and functional without overshadowing the decorated tree itself.

The wider, stable base solves the tipping problem, and I added 2 versions with integrated holders for Christmas lights battery cases, sized for standard 2AA battery cases 1.38 x 3.03 x 0.75 in (35 x 77 x 19 mm), so everything stays neat and hidden. No more falling battery packs!

This festive winter holiday pattern adds seasonal charm while maintaining the clean Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic. The embossed pattern has a textured finish that gives it a soft, snow-dusted look. Print it in a single color for an elegant look, or go bold with multi-color printing. You could also print this pot in a single color and hand-paint the details yourself.

Colors, Materials and Print Settings

The design works beautifully in classic white or with multiple color combinations, imagine crisp white with vibrant red accents, or a full palette with golden stars, icy-blue snowflakes, red candy canes, and colorful gift boxes. The possibilities are endless.

I used Polymaker PolySonic PLA Pro White for this print, chosen for its excellent balance of a smooth finish and high-speed printing without compromising surface quality.

Model from the preview printed on Bambu Lab A1 Mini. All recommended parameters and settings are saved in the provided .3mf files, but adjust as needed for your setup. Fuzzy skin is enabled for the pattern.
