Description
Frustrated with the low cranking amps of the stock battery in my 2018 Mustang GT350R I ordered an Antigravity ATX20-HD lithium phosphate battery with a much higher CCA rating and significantly reduced mass. Because the ATX20-HD is much smaller in size than the stock 96R or 99R batteries an adapter is required. The only adapter I could find online, printed or otherwise, was from repop3d. They sell their 3d printed holder for $99, and scoffed when I offered to purchase the design files from them for my own personal use.
I decided to model and print my own adapter and share it for free :)
As is done with the stock battery, the battery is clamped longitudinally with a screw and an angled plate. This feature is replicated in my model with the chamfered faces on the long axis. For additional security and increased structural rigidity a top plate is added to join the main structures together and prevent vertical movement of the battery. I used M5 screws to secure this top plate, however I included files to allow #8 and #10 size screws to be used. A minimum screw length of 20mm or 3/4" is recommended. I printed models in in PETG to test the sizing and placement with final iterations in PC-CF and PA-CF. You'll have to "seperate objects" to divide the singular STEP files into the 3 descrete printed parts. A screenshot of this process in Prusaslicer is included.

EDIT: Added a model for the ATX-30HD and M6 screws. I do not have this battery to test this model myself, but it should fit similarly to my ATX-20HD model. Please let me know if any changes are required after printing and testing this yourself.
