prepare
- Sandpaper is 230×280 (9"×11") - the length you need is 230mm so cut a small (8 or 15mm) stripe along the 230 side.
- Put some tape centered on the back of the sandpaper end (half overlap).
- Put the sandpaper around the springy end and stick to the tape lands on a flat area.
- Press the end so the sandpaper ends come together and press on the tape
hack
- Concatenate different grid into a belt - so you have them all in one stick.
- Make a belt from tissue, fabric or paper for precision cleaning or to apply paint.
use
Now you can hold and move the sandpaper with your finger tip so you can use the full length even when only using the sanding tip.
The gap section is for convex objects as it will fit the rounding better.
The script allows to adapt to different length of sandpaper and height and thickness of the stick as well the angle and diameter of the tip.
