Description
When you need to remove or raise your rainbird sprinkler, remove the top cap and use this tool with either a 52mm socket, or a 1/2" drive and a socket wrench to spin out the body, service it or add a riser then put it back in. It saves a lot of digging or damage to the body if you use pliers.
Version 2.6 centers and scales the STL for easier printing.
Use as much infill as possible so that the torque of the wrench doesn't crack the tool. I would also add extra top layers as solid for more strength. Clay soil can really grip.
A little water (not much) around the sprinkler body will help it slip. When you complete the work be sure to flush the system with a short run (2 seconds) or the zone then screw the popup cap back on.
