This is a mini that has been on my list for a while now. It's from Rise of Tiamat and it's a paper whirlwind. The tricky part is that paper is really really thin and that wouldn't be very printable. So for this model I've remixed my book an book swarm props into a swirling mass (similar to how I made my demobats). I tried playing with Geometry nodes on this one but it ended up creating more of a mess than what I wanted.

This is a medium construct so I have it on a 25mm baseplate and it's about 30mm in height. It's not a very high CR creature but it's a swarm so it can pack a bit of a punch.

For printing it has a lot of little edges so it's going to need supports. For resin do the usual 45 tilt back and auto supports. For FDM I would print it straight up with slim tree supports. The low layer resolution the better to get the little book lips etc... but either way it's going to be a mass with some curved parts and some flat parts.

I've completed my quest for 1000 models in 2025 so now I'm trying to decide whats next - I'm actively asking my Patrons what kind of models that they want to see.
