Description
This is a storage caddy designed to fit under the front right seat of a Bearhawk 4 place aircraft. I have not tested the design on other models of Bearhawk. In order to get a proper fit, you cannot have any permanent items such as an autopilot under that seat.
You can print a mirror image to make one that fits the right seat.
There are several files attached so you can choose the complete box and print it yourself, or alternatively choose the one that is already cut into two for optimal printing. You will also need to print two of the tube grips.
To install in the aircraft, first remove the front seat and attach both tube grips into position. Then place the caddy into position for a test fit to check correct fit, and clearances. The gluing needs to be done in place for a good fit.
Next remove the caddy slightly, apply glue, and then push the parts together. I used plumbers plastic pipe cement, with a small amount of CA (superglue) to quickly set in place.
