Description
Replica Fog Lights for Jurassic Park Jeeps, and Explorers
1:1 replica from actual rear fog lights and can work as replacement/repair parts.
Includes Sheet metal plans for the mounting brackets
(Does not include reflector plans, (it is a custom tool that is unavailable, Sold separately)
Ideal Printing Materials:
Lens: SLA pre-pigmented with amber, or clear for explorer builds
Plastic housing and bezels are considered thin walled, so SLA would preform the best
Gaskets should be printed with soft TPU with the lowest shore hardness your printer can print, if you have painted the inside of the housing then you must have it to prevent corrosion.
On FDM: ASA or any sun-proof material would be ideal.
Bill of materials:
Drill or a step drill to open a hole up to 10mm (For the grommet that feeds the positive lead)
Sheet metal sizes: (Also Sold Separately)
Both Bracket: 16ga mild steel (ideally powder coated)
Bulb Holder: 16ga Mild steel or 18 ga Aluminium. Both bracket ends are needed to sandwich the plastic and prevent the rivet from splitting the plastic housing.
