Description
My recreation of an old PC water cooling external radiator mount, Inspired by the Swiftech "Radbox" MCB-120
It's made of a two part construction, the holding plate and housing for ease of installation with multiple slots for vertical and horizontal adjustments. The holding plate bolts directly to 60mm, 80mm, 92mm or 120mm fan holes. Requires 2-4 plastic screws at least 0.2" (2.4mm) long to secure the housing and the plate together, I take a lot of things apart so I have many loose screws laying around.
My friend is rebuilding his early 2000s custom water-cooled rig and needed a new external radiator mount since the plastic for the original one was brittle and broke apart, with replacement parts for such a niche PC accessory being non-existent.
