Description
Fully printable tool for measuring an exact template of a stair tread or riser, that you can then transfer to a workpiece to be cut out.
Key features:
Fully modular - print as many rails, bolts, knobs, etc. as you need for your situation
Both tread and riser templates have adjustable depth stops for separately measuring the left/right sides of a tread/riser
Tread templates have a taller depth stop for getting the front edge of an existing tread
A single bolt design is used for everything, printed sideways for increased strength
Most of the model is parameterized, so if you need shorter rails for example, that's adjustable in the f3d
I recommend printing the bolts and knobs in PETG, at the very least the bolts should be. The rest of the parts can be anything, I used PLA.
Print settings:
Knob: 5 perimeters
Bolt: 5 perimeters, 100% infill
Everything else: default settings, the 3mf has adaptive cubic infill set for everything
