M12x1.5 threaded blind stuffing to close unused M12-openings or PG7-openings in housings.

  Metric tread

[2] Diameters for suitable openings:
  Diameters for M12x1.5 opening:
  a) threaded hole:                    10.5mm / M12x1.5 thread
  b) drill hole without thread:  12.5mm / no thread
  Diameters for PG7 opening:
  a) threaded hole:                    11.3mm / PG thread -> Not fitting without widening to 12.0 mm diameter.

  b) drill hole without thread:  12.5mm / no thread

Assembly
Threaded opening:
Screw the blind stuffing into the M12x1.5 opening.
Optionally place sealing on stuffing before assembly.
Unthreaded opening:
Place blind stuffing in PG7/M12 opening and secure with M12x1.5 nut.
Optionally place sealing on stuffing before assembly.
Use a 1€ coin for turning of the blind stuffing.

Hint: 
Apply some silicone grease on the thread, so it can be easily be assembled and disassembled.
(Without grease, the thread tends to wind on and off somewhat “sticky”.)
