New version 2. Based off feedback I have increased the thickness by 1.5mm which makes it a better fit to the keyboard of the Starlight greatly reducing flex. Thanks to user Strudster for the feedback and image.

This is a keyboard brace for the flexible keyboard in the Starlight version of the Commodore 64 Ultimate.

I bought the Beige version which does not flex, however Commodore used a transparent pcb for the Starlight version because of all the LEDs and clear plastic and and unfortunately the transparent pcb isn't rigid and allows the board to flex. So this is my proposed fix for it. Basically supports the board from below so when you type it shouldn't flex as much.

Note: As you can see from the pictures, I used a Beige model for modeling as I don't have the Starlight. But their keyboards are very similar and I used some pictures from Starlight owners to verify component placement.

The model is split into 2 pieces so it can fit on even smaller 3d printers and each half is marked with either a L or R to signify that it goes on either the Left or Right hand side of the keyboard when looking at it for install.  Speaking of install, just remove the 8 screws that Commodore used to secure the keyboard, drop in the braces and then reinstall the screws. I would do one side and then the other.

Please provide feedback on the fitment here, on social media or on Lemon64.

edit: I have added a STEP file for easy remixing and improvements if warranted. I have also added a single piece brace for large format printers. It's 340mm wide.
