Description
When printing you might want to use a higher infill, so it doesn't tend to bend when you write on the tablet. It's built with two parts so that you can fit a cable inside. It might be possible to print them in place, but I haven't tried that. I printed my two pieces separately with supports (minimal support material required). It also includes several cavities for embedding magnets so it adheres to metallic surfaces. You can adjust the size of the cavities from the provided model.
Provided is a Fusion 360 .f3d file so you can fit whatever angled USB-C cable you have. Just make sure the opening for the USB-C port stays the same as it is aligned perfectly to fit a reMarkable 2 with a book folio. The stand is designed so you can write on the tabled with the whole screen visible. If you're not using a book folio you may need to make some adjustments of your own.
The build requires an angled USB-C cable and 2xM3 12mm screws. The holes for the screws are conical shaped for a self tapping and shouldn't require a threaded insert. Just be mindful not to over-tighten the screws.
