Description
Well, why a replica? Because I like it, but I don't like the plastic feeling. So I printed it with rubber filament. Unbreakable and much more pleasant to the touch.
[EDIT 03/15/2019]
GT-3TP type added. Due to very fine knurling, it is better to use a 0.3mm nozzle
Printer: Totally modded Zortrax M200
Rafts: No
Supports: No
Resolution: 0.1mm (0.2 first layer)
Infill: gyroid 40%
Filament: zcory Rubber HS any
Notes:
An interesting two-color print effect for the small logo on the top of the knob can be obtained with particular precautions.
Print the first three layers (0.2mm the first and 0.1mm all the others) with the darker filament, heated bed at 85 degrees, high nozzle temperature.
Pause and replace the filament with the lighter one (or at least one that make the contrast), keeping the nozzle temperature high. The subsequent layers, correct at the temperature indicated for the filament.
The light filament will collapse into the bas-relief, resulting adjacent to the bottom layer (top of knob).
